2002–03 Japan Figure Skating Championships
The Japan or is held annually to determine the Japanese figure skating title. The disciplines of competition are men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Some years some disciplines are not held because there are no skaters in those disciplines. This event was used to determine the teams for the World Figure Skating Championships and the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. The level of competition is Senior-level only. Juniors compete at the Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships, where the top three advance to the World Junior Figure Skating Championships.
The 2002–03 season championships were held at the Kyoto Aquarena in Kyoto between December 19 and 22, 2002. The 2002–03 competition was the 71st year of the championships.
